ArsTechnica has been a great tech resource since 1997. I have been reading it almost as long as it has been around. If you are building a computer the System Builder guild is a must read. They have managed to keep up a high level of quality on their content in an ever changing internet market. This remains one of the best examples of a successful internet magazine I have seen.
Hello World is the legendary starting place of all programmers. Nearly every programming book I have read starts with this simple tutorial --Print "Hello World!" to the screen. So the Mozilla Community started it off right, their begining Mozilla Development Tutorial is a Hello World tutorial.For those looking to get into Mozilla development this is the best starting place. So, if you want to develop the next great Firefox plugin, start here.
The official site on the Drupal CMS. If you don't already know what Drupal is or what it can do, go there then change your pants. It is a bit over whelming at first, but once you get used to the site's organization you will find a wealth of information and a great user community. This is what makes Drupal able to do anything.
Game Trailers is a video game site that has something for everyone. The wide variety may be a bit over whelming but once you find the avenue that suits you it will keep you coming back. If you like retro games then check out the section done by good folks over at Screwattack.com. If you like new games then check out their video game reviews. Fans of parody should search Hey Ash What You Playing.
Home Star Runner is a hilarious flash animation site. They have been around for a long time and are constantly creating new content.
Lullabot is company that organizes Drupal training workshops and sells Drupal training videos. Drupal is a community driven project, and Lullabot embraces this idea. They have a wealth of information available for free on there site. They have regular video and audio podcasts available for download.
